Was ist ein CrossFit WOD?

Ein CrossFit WOD – was für „Workout of the Day“ steht – ist das Herzstück des Trainings bei CrossFit Icke. Es wird in einer Gruppe und innerhalb einer festgelegten Zeit oder so schnell wie möglich absolviert.
Das besondere daran: Ein CrossFit WOD ist ein allumfassendes Ganzkörpertraining. Es kombiniert auf abwechslungsreiche Art und Weise Elemente aus verschiedensten Sportarten. Ein WOD bei CrossFit Icke wird immer von einem erfahrenen Coaches angeleitet, die jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung stehen.
Damit definitiv keine Langeweile aufkommt, stellen unsere Coaches jeden Tag ein neues WOD zusammen. Auf ein Warm-up folgen Blocks, bei denen du entweder mit Geräten (die bekanntesten dürften wohl Kettlebells sein) oder über dein eigenes Körpergewicht (bspw. Burpees oder auch mal der eine oder andere Handstand) trainierst. Über die durchdachte Reihenfolge der Blocks werden Übungen aus Bereichen wie Herz-Kreislauf- und Ausdauertraining, Kraftausdauer sowie Maximal- und Explosivkrafttraining integriert.

Das Ziel eines ausgewogenen CrossFit WODs ist es, einen fitten, starken und athletischen Körper zu schaffen, der sowohl im Sport als auch im Alltag zu mehr Top-Leistungen und Ausdauer in der Lage ist.

Example: If an athlete completes 12 calories in Set 1, they begin Set 2 with 12 calories before accumulating max Pull-Ups. If they then complete 16 Pull-Ups, Set 3 begins with 16 Pull-Ups.
Goals: ~25/20 Total Reps + Calories each set
Stimulus: Aerobic Power / Muscular Endurance
RPE: 8.5/10
Primary Objective: Repeat the same output across all four sets, no drop-off from Set 1 to Set 4.
Secondary Objective: Clear the opening 15 Pull-Ups in under :35 so the bike gets real time.

In order to allow Echo Bikes for multiple groups here we can run a delay of :45 seconds to allow for Group 1 on the 0:00, Group 2 on the 0:45, and Group 3 on the 1:30, noting that Group 1 won't start again until 2:30 on a running clock.
